Contest rules

Eligibility

You must be of the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, and resident in a region where Brain Bounty operates. One account per person.

Entry

One entry fee buys one attempt at one contest. Entry closes at the published time, and an exam that is still open when the contest closes is submitted as it stands.

During the exam

You may not use any outside assistance, including other people, reference material, or software. You may not run more than one account or allow anyone else to use yours.

Fair play

We monitor for automated play and for answer patterns that are not humanly possible. An account found cheating is disqualified from the contest and may be closed. Entry fees are not refunded where an account is disqualified for cheating.

Determination of the winner

The highest score in the contest wins. Where two players tie on score, the faster total answering time wins.

Changes

We may change these rules. Contests already open at the time of a change continue under the rules in force when they opened.
